4. Phang Nga Bay
The body of water between Krabi and Phuket is called Phang Nga Bay, and it is one of the most impressive destinations in all of Thailand. 5. Railay
Whether you’re looking for the next adrenaline rush or scenic beauty like no other, Railay can be the answer. Railay is a peninsula surrounded by oceans and mountains, which means that it is accessible mainly by boat. On the superb white sand beaches, tall limestone formations rise above the water. At Phra Nang Beach in Railay, you can swim under incredible limestone structures. At Rai Leh West Beach, the atmosphere is a bit calmer but the scenic beauty is just as inviting. 6. String Mu Ko Ang
In the Gulf of Thailand, near Ko Samui, lies the Mu Ko Ang Thong National Park. This archipelago is made up of 42 islands, most of which are located very close to each other. 9. Koh Tao
Ko Tao is an island in the Gulf of Thailand accessible by high-speed ferry from the town of Chumphon. For travelers who enjoy diving, Ko Tao Island is the perfect vacation destination. If you are new to the world of diving, PADI certification courses are available on the island. Diving allows you to see bull sharks at Chumphon Pinnacle, the evolving underwater sculptures of Val Tao Tong Bay known as Ocean Utopia, and tons of turtles, among many other marine life.
